Why ADV 160 is best for Samui jungle and beach roads?

On the ADV 160 last October I rode a rooted Hin Lad descent I had walked a Scoopy through two years earlier: the Scoopy clears 110 mm, the ADV 160, and that 50 mm is the whole difference between walking and riding, no advanced technique required. On the loose final 150 m to Bang Po beach its semi-knobby rear found edge traction where an NMAX's road tyre had stopped me the month before. After an overnight storm I rode 6 km of red laterite mud above the Nathon plantations at 20 to 25 km/h while every other scooter that morning turned back before halfway. Its plastic underbelly guard took two rock contacts I never noticed, letting me hold rhythm instead of picking a line around each obstacle. A CRF150L trail bike went further where the track narrowed below the ADV's bar width - it is not a trail bike. But it is the only rental scooter I trust to finish a mixed-surface Samui route without nursing its limits. https://samui-bikes.com/en/scooter-rental-koh-samui/rent-honda-adv-160/why-adv-160-is-best-for-samui-jungle-and-beach-roads/
