Who should choose Honda Scoopy for Samui trip?

I picked up a red Honda Scoopy outside Chaweng Market at 8 a.m. last January and stepped off it six hours later at Bophut Night Market convinced it is Samui's most forgiving first scooter. The automatic twist-and-go asks nothing except attention to traffic, and the 110cc engine builds speed predictably, sitting happily between 40 and 60 km/h across every road from Chaweng to Nathon. The seat is wider than photos suggest and takes two adults with solid grab rails, while the underseat storage swallows a couple of small bags. At 250 to 300 baht a day and 45 to 48 km per litre, it is the cheapest option that still has a front disc and combined braking. It suits solo first-week travellers riding beach-to-beach under 20 km, and couples with light luggage. Heavier riders or anyone tackling the Nathon mountain climb should size up to a 150cc. https://samui-bikes.com/en/rent-scooter/rent-honda-scoopy/who-should-choose-honda-scoopy-for-samui-trip/
